Good Evening LCPS Families: This message is in reference to the recent issues caused by the shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline. We understand that the frenzy caused by the concern for fuel shortages is putting a strain on the surrounding areas’ gas supply. Due to the difficulty to find fuel over the next few days, LCPS will operate remotely, or Learning Mode Red, on Friday, May 14, 2021 and all LCPS buildings will be closed. If the issue is not resolved over the weekend, we will reevaluate the situation. Currently, we plan to resume our normal "B" week schedule for Monday, May 17, 2021.
