Lancaster County Public Schools

Lancaster County is committed to hiring qualified, motivated teachers and staff interested in working in a rural setting. The county covers approximately 149 square miles at the southeast tip of Virginia’s Northern Neck, a peninsula bordered by the Rappahannock River (to the south) and the Chesapeake Bay (to the east). The population is approximately 11,000. Lancaster is the county seat and Kilmarnock is the largest town. Lancaster County Public Schools consists of three schools: Lancaster High School, Lancaster Elementary School, and Lancaster Early Childhood Education Center.
