The School Board will have a work session on July 31st, 2024 at Front Porch Coffee House. The meeting will be held from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Front Porch Coffee House is located at 139 South Main Street in Kilmarnock.

Registration for the 24-25 school year will be held on April 23rd from 9 am-1 pm and April 24th from 12 pm-5 pm at Lancaster Elementary School. You will need the following documents to register your child: Original birth certificate, Parent/guardian photo ID, and Proof of residency in Lancaster County. April 12 & 13 from 10 am -2 pm at LPS:
Furniture from LPS will be for sale. Items will be $10 each and only cash is accepted. Items include filing cabinets, chairs, tables, desks, etc. All proceeds will go towards purchasing furniture for the new Lancaster High School. LPS is located at

April 17 & 18 is PreK Application Day at the Early Childhood Education Center:
You must apply to enroll your student in the PreK 3 and 4-year-old program at the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC). Applications can be filled out at the ECEC on April 17th from 9 am-1 pm or April 18th from 12 pm-5 pm. You will need the following documents to get an application for your child: Original birth certificate, Parent/guardian photo ID, Proof of residency in Lancaster County, and Proof of income. April 18 is Career Day at Lancaster High School:
Community members will be coming to Lancaster High School to teach students about their career paths and have an opportunity to recruit students for summer jobs or post-graduation. April 19-20 is the Art Show Day at Lancaster Elementary School:
Artwork from our students will be up for display in the Lancaster Elementary School gymnasium. Families and community members are encouraged to attend on April 20 from 9 am to 12 pm to view the artwork.
April 22 is Family Engagement Night at Lancaster Elementary School:
LES Families are invited to attend our Family Engagement Night about Reading in Nature and Earth Day! We will be partnering with 4-H to put on this incredible night. This event begins at 5:30 and dinner will be served.

April 25 is the Talent Show at Lancaster Elementary School:
Lancaster Elementary School students who auditioned will be showing off their talents at the “LES Has Talent” Show at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. We hope to see you then!
