On Monday, February 28th, 2022 at 5:30PM, LCPS School Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed school budget. School Board Meetings will be held in the LMS auditorium. There is limited seating capacity with adherence to social distancing to the greatest extent practicable. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Public attendees will be required to wear a face covering during high and substantial community transmission and are encouraged to attend virtually if experiencing any symptoms related to COVID 19. UPDATE: Due to current weather conditions Lancaster County Public Schools and school offices will be closed today, February 14. All evening activities are canceled as well. As of now, the school board meeting will still be held tonight.

Due to weather conditions in the upper end of the county, Lancaster County schools will operate on a 2 hour delay today, February 14.

The next Lancaster County School Board meeting will be on Monday, February 14th, 2022. There will be a closed session meeting for legal matters at 5:00 PM, and the monthly School Board meeting will follow at 5:30 PM.

The lab providers have had to cancel tomorrow's testing clinic at Lancaster Middle School. With the weather forecast; they will not be able to travel to Kilmarnock. The next testing date will be Saturday, February 5th at Northumberland High School.

Due to the current weather conditions and below freezing temperatures tonight and tomorrow, Lancaster County Public Schools and school offices will be on a 2 hour delay on Friday, January 21st.

Due to anticipated weather and low temperatures tomorrow afternoon and evening, Lancaster County Public Schools will dismiss students at 12:15 on Thursday, January 20th. LCPS offices will close for the afternoon and all evening activities will be canceled as well.

Every Saturday in January, LCPS and Three Rivers Health District are hosting a FREE Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Events. The events will be held at Lancaster Middle School from 10 am - 1 pm. All members of the community are able to attend with no appointment necessary. Although LCPS is hosting this event, we are not responsible for delivering results. We would like to extend an apology from all parties if your results were delivered in an untimely manner this past week. Results should be sent via an encrypted email from Proofpoint within 48 hours of testing. This email could go to your spam or junk mail folder. If you do not receive an email with your results, call the Three Rivers Health Department.

Due to the anticipated weather in the early morning hours, Lancaster County Public Schools and School offices will be on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Friday January 7th. We will reevaluate by 8 am.

LCPS schools and LCPS offices will be open tomorrow, Thursday, January 6th on a regular schedule. A letter from Superintendent Russell will be sent home with all students tomorrow. This letter will be available on the LCPS website. Also posted on our website are updated isolation and quarantine guidelines. Please be sure to keep your child home if they are symptomatic and we look forward to seeing students tomorrow!
