As a follow-up to the resolution adopted by the Lancaster County Board of Supervisors (BOS) on September 24, 2020, both the Lancaster County BOS and School Board members will present the 1969 Brookvale High Fighting Warriors with their state championship rings on Saturday, April 17, 2021. The presentation of the state champion rings is the culminating ceremony in the long-overdue recognition of these men who were not given the usual glory and fanfare of cheering spectators and community celebration upon their return to the county after the 1969 win. The Lancaster County Youth Baseball League is excited to participate in honoring the team during their 2021 Opening Ceremonies starting at 2:00 pm at Dream Fields.
