Dot Day is celebrated Internationally on or around September 15th each year. It is a day to celebrate creativity and self expression. A day to think about how you will make your mark on the world. The LES STEAM students had a day of learning about the book THE DOT by Peter H. Reynolds and reflecting on having a growth mindset. Kindergarten decorated paper plates with dots to show their fine motor skills and creativity. The 6th grade completed a tower challenge with 12 index cards and a sheet of dots to see who could build the tallest freestanding sculpture.
