Students pictured sitting on a dock in front of 'The Godspeed'

Lancaster County Public Schools fourth grade students went on a field trip to the Tides Inn located in Irvington, Virginia this week to see a reproduction of The Godspeed, one of the three English ships that landed and planted the first permanent English colony in North America. We thank the staff and volunteers of the Jamestown Settlement's 'Godspeed', the Colonial Seaport Foundation's 'Luna', and the Tides Inn for giving our LCPS students a memorable in-person learning experience! The fourth grade students are looking forward to learning more about Jamestown this month!

Here are some more pictures from their trip.
