Hello LCPS Families!
\r\nLancaster County Public Schools will begin using SMS (text) messages as an additional form of communication. All cell phone numbers in our system are automatically opted in to receive these messages. On Friday, January 27th at approximately 5:30 PM, you will receive an initial, automated text message from LCPS. This message will come from 67587 and it will give you the option to opt-out of receiving future text messages from LCPS. It is important to us that our families are up to date on information and communication; text messaging adds an additional form of communication.
\r\nThe attached flier provides more information about SMS text messages. It includes information about choosing to opt out of LCPS text messages and also how to opt in to LCPS text messages with an additional number.
