Mrs. Maynard set high expectations for her second graders: reach Level 10 in Lexia before Winter Break. The students said, "Challenge accepted." Together, students completed 2,781 units and passed 39 levels, earning a Root Beer and Orange Soda Float party to celebrate their success.
Powered by Lexia’s science-of-reading–based instruction, students are building the foundational skills they need for success on the January VALLS assessment and on their journey to becoming fluent readers by the end of second grade. This celebration is a reflection of strong teaching, focused students, and the power of setting the bar high.
