LHS Remote Learning Plan

Dear LHS Parents/Guardians,

We want to share our plan for remote learning in the event of an emergency school closure.

If Lancaster High School (LHS) has a remote learning day, students will complete assignments online using the platform discussed by individual teachers. Students with no internet and/or no device will receive a packet to be completed at home. Families will only need to complete assignments when a remote learning day is specifically announced for LHS.

Please note that there may be days when the Early Childhood Education Center and/or Lancaster Elementary School (LES) are closed, while LHS is remote. To stay informed, please follow our school website, Facebook pages, and local news stations for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding school closures and remote learning days.

The remote learning packet for those who need it will be sent home this upcoming Friday, January 23rd. Please keep the packet in a safe location so it is available when needed.

For your child to be counted present on a remote learning day, only the assignment for that specific day must be completed and returned to school when school reopens.

On remote learning days, teachers will be available to support families and answer questions via email.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

LHS Administrators
