Hello LCPS family, we are sharing an adjustment to the academic calendar. As you are aware, LPS and LMS will combine to become Lancaster Elementary School in August. Since we had to close school minimally this year due to weather, we will be adjusting Tuesday, May 30th and Wednesday, May 31st to be staff workdays rather than student days. This calendar change will give our faculty and staff additional time to pack up for the big move during the summer. We thank you for your understanding and patience as we make this transition. The last student day is now Friday, May 26th and Monday, May 29th remains a holiday for all staff.
