One month down, and what a fun-filled month it has been! 📚🔬🎨

Our students have been recognized for showing their TRUE COLORS; our young scientists have been busy experimenting, and our English students sampled some great reads during a special “book tasting.” 📖🧪

And, of course, no first-month recap would be complete without a little “How It Started vs. How It Ended: Teacher Edition.” 😂 We may be a little more tired than we were on day one, but the learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories have made it all worthwhile!

Here’s to a fantastic first month and many more great moments ahead! ❤️

The Smiles Program Mobile Dentist will be visiting LCPS August 24-26, 2026. This is an easy and convenient way for your child to get dental care and most insurance covers 100% of the treatment. They also accept Medicaid. They will perform exams, cleanings, x-rays, and fillings. Your child may not be seen if it has been less than 6 months from their last dental visit.

Families need to sign up by Monday, August 17th, 2026. Paper forms were sent home, but you can also register online at https://www.myschooldentist.com/Default.aspx
