Lancaster County Public Schools proudly recognized our 2025-2026 Teachers and Staff Members of the Year during the School Board meeting on Monday, May 18.
Honored from Lancaster Elementary School were Staff Member of the Year Heidi Lally and Teacher of the Year Krista Maynard. Representing Lancaster High School were Staff Member of the Year Sarah Pittman and Teacher of the Year Lt. Col. RG McManus.
We are also excited to congratulate our district-level honorees: Sarah Pittman, who was named LCPS District Staff Member of the Year, and Lt. Col. RG McManus, who was named LCPS District Teacher of the Year. Their awards were presented by last year’s district honorees, Chancy Elliott, 2024-2025 District Staff Member of the Year, and Kenny Fleseter, 2024-2025 District Teacher of the Year.
These outstanding individuals represent the dedication, compassion, and excellence found throughout Lancaster County Public Schools each day. Their commitment to supporting students, staff, and families makes a lasting impact across our division.
