Lancaster County Public Schools will be offering a home delivery route through the Summer Food Service Program. This summer, meal kits will be delivered to all participating children without charge. Meal kits will be delivered once a week starting May 29, 2026 and ending on July 31, 2026. These shelf stable kits will contain 7 breakfast items and 7 lunch items. 

If your child is NOT attending summer school and you would like to get free Meal Kits delivered this summer, please complete BOTH of these steps (both have to be done to receive the delivery):

1) Fill out the Rural Non-Congregate Home Delivery Meal Service Opt-In Form:

  • You can access this on our website (https://aptg.co/4N0XVk) and email to cjett@lcs.k12.va.us or

  • You can go to any of the school buildings (LHS, LES, ECEC or SBO) to fill out the form and we will give it to Chef Jett.

2) Sign Up for the delivery service online by completing this form

If your child IS attending summer school and would like to receive Meal Kits, please read the following:

While students are in summer school, they will receive lunch and breakfast at school. Students will be offered a 3 day shelf stable meal kit on Thursdays at summer school. To get the 7 day Meal Kit delivered to your house once summer school is over, you will need to do the two steps listed above during the week of June 15th. You have to complete both steps to receive your first delivery on June 26, 2026.
